Ruth was commissioned by the LSN’s Skills for Life team to co-write both the highly successful one day ‘Introducing E-learning’ and ‘Integrating E-learning’ training courses for literacy, language and numeracy practitioners and teacher trainers. After training a national team of teacher trainers, the courses have now been delivered, through the Skills for Life Quality Initiative, to over 1000 teachers and trainers over a three year period. Ruth also co-wrote LSN’s ‘Exploring E-learning’ L3 accredited training which has been delivered extensively across the UK. Since being appointed LSN’s Regional Support Contact Ruth is still involved in supporting professional development centres, trainers and providers working on ‘Exploring E-learning’ training across London.
